The Pokemon Go Battle League Season 11 has begun, with a new weekly schedule of leagues and cups, as well as some great rewards and themed Battle Days to enjoy.
While catching ’em all is the name of the game in Pokemon Go, Trainers looking to test their might against others will want to head to the Go Battle League, which is now entering its 11th season following the recent interlude season.

It’s time to dust off your battle gloves once again, Trainers.Pokemon Go Battle League Season 11 start & end dates
Season 11 of the Go Battle League began on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, and will end on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 1PM PT / 4PM ET / 9PM BST / 10PM CEST.
Niantic explained in a blog post that it’s “time to get back to battling” following the previous interlude season, where there were no visible ratings and bug fixes were implemented.
Pokemon Go Battle League Season 11 schedule
As well as the traditional trio of Great, Ultra, and Master Leagues, there will be loads of special cups this season including the Fossil Cup and the Fighting Cup.

There are loads of rewards to earn as you rise through the Go Battle League, from Pokemon encounters to avatar items, and even Elite TMs for the most dedicated Trainers.

Go Battle League Season 11 Battle Events schedule
There will be three Battle Events taking place during Season 11 of the Go Battle League:

For the Mankey Battle Day, the maximum number of sets you can play per day will be raised from five to 20, for a total of 100 battles, and there will be new Timed Research to complete.
Players can also get a guaranteed Mankey encounter as a reward between the hours of 11am and 2pm. If you evolve a Mankey during these hours, you’ll get a Primeape that knows Cross Chop.

Although there are typically a handful of buffs and nerfs at the beginning of every Pokemon Go Battle League season, there will be no move changes during Season 11.
Niantic’s reason for this during the previous interlude season was that the development team was focusing on making improvements, so it could be the same reason this season.
